What is IBFT?The Infoplatform for Accessible Tourism is an initiative of the ÖHTB and stands as a service- and information point for all concerns of the accessible tourism for everybody in Austria. The Platform is non-party, non-confessional and is aligned to the ideas and objectives of the accessible tourism for everybody. IBFT stands as a connecting element between mobility impaired people and the economic interests of the Austrian tourism. Consequently IBFT is not a disability -organisation, as this would disagree with the principles of self-determined life and the self-representation of disabled people. IBFT has no commercial interests in terms of pecuniary rewards. Our main goal is the distribution of the ideas and concepts from the accessible tourism and the intermediation of positive consequences for all people, guests and locals, whether they are mobility impaired or not.
